Indigenous Data Sovereignty Readiness Assessment and Evaluation Toolkit


Description

The purpose of this Toolkit is to assess programs’ and organisations’ readiness for Indigenous Data Sovereignty (ID-SOV) through Indigenous Data Governance in practice and evaluate and monitor ID-SOV principles and practices within the research sector.


The Toolkit has three key objectives:

1) It supports Lowitja Institute’s purpose and priorities by enhancing the capability of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research workforce


2) It contributes to and facilitates the national and international discussions of ID-SOV in practice; and


3) It supports the goal of strengthening best practices in ID-SOV.
